This Privacy Policy explains how the Anticipatory Bot (the “Bot”), operated by Anticipatory (“we”, “us”), handles information when you interact with it in Microsoft Teams.
To respond to you, the Bot receives the messages you send to it and basic Microsoft Teams metadata required to deliver a reply (such as your user and conversation identifiers and the service URL provided by the Microsoft Bot Framework). The Bot processes message content only to generate its response.
The Bot is designed to process messages in transit and does not maintain a persistent store of your message content. Transient operational logs, if generated, are kept only as long as needed to operate the service and are not used to build a profile of you.
We do not sell your information. Messages are transported through Microsoft’s Bot Framework and Teams infrastructure in order to deliver the service; their handling is governed by Microsoft’s terms and privacy notices.
Traffic to the Bot is served over HTTPS, and requests from Microsoft Teams are authenticated. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the service.
You can stop sharing information with the Bot at any time by removing it from your Teams environment or no longer messaging it.
